We've had a wonderful couple of days in the cottage. We think this is the best cottage we have stayed in. Fabulous scenery and love the chickens and wildlife. We will definitely come to stay again.

Fantastic break away from the 'big smoke'. Lovely people (Jo & Family), beautiful views, stunning cottage with beds to die for! Can't wait for next visit. PS chilli jam is amazing - buy some homemade produce

We have had another fabulous stay for Chris' 60th birthday. Waking up to snow was a magical sight - it was truly beautiful. Can't wait to come back in March for Lucy's birthday.

Thank you, Jo & Steve, for having us and allowing us to experience both your cottages. Even though you are only across the Midlands, it felt like a real getaway and has been a wonderful base to explore for a couple of days.

Wonderful cottage in an idyllic setting. We very much enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden and stunning views. Thank you for the freindly welcome and delicious lemon cake. A perfect first visit to Shropshire.

Curlew Cottage
Immaculate cottage and beautiful grounds. Bed was like sleeping on clouds - I suffer with bad joints and no sleep, but slept soundly here. Beautiful cake and the homemade jam and fresh eggs were delicious. The woodburner was lush! The Stables Inn is THE place to go for steak!

It's all been said by your previous guests - we can add nothing more except to say we will be back.

A good few days over Christmas. Walks on Stiperstones, Stapely Ridge and around Snailbeach. Slept well in really comfortable bed, the widest I've ever slept in - couldn't find the wife!!

We try to visit Shropshire once a year, usually around the Ludlow area, so took a chance coming a bit further north. So gald we did!. This cottage is excellent in every way. Cosy yet spacious, secluded yet within easy reach of Ludlow and Shrewsbury. The cottage is so well equipped and the attention to detail probably the best I've ever known. Info book also spot on. Thank you.

So much to see, so little time! The cottage was perfect in every way for us and this part of Shropshire is so peaceful and beautiful. We will be back to explore some more soon.

Lovely immaculate cottage in idyllic location. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches (especially the cake!). So much to see and do, not enough time so will just have to return

The Shropshire landscape is delightful. Sunken lanes with high hedges and lots of trees remind me of South Devon. Hedges, pasture fields with sheep, uplands with rock outcrops and boulder fields. Stiperstones and bare slopes dominate arable fields and narrow deep wooded valleys. Add to this a wealth of wildlife and you witness nature at its magnificent best. To round it off you meet delightfully friendly Shropshire folk and find memorable inns and pubs.....
